Diana Abkin.

I am just going to be obnoxious (because I am good at it) and pat myself on the back for having such good taste in friends. One common trait amongst my close buddies is that we all love dogs and are involved one way or another in rescue. I even found out that my boss rescued her pooch from the techno loving streets of Ibiza. So let me introduce you once again to Diana Abkin, my bud who first met me as a potential adopter of my foster dog Slim. Don't let her sarcasm fool you-she is as compassionate as it gets....

What are you studying? Nursing, not very exciting I know, but I do get to run around with needles and use terms that no one understands.. yay!

When do you get to jab other students and draw their blood for practice? Are you scared or looking forward to that part?
I don't know, but I'm looking forward to hurting people that's for sure! OK I'm a little scared..

What are your favorite websites? I'm addicted to FaceBook. I really hope someone starts AA for FB addicts! I do like to use it as an excuse for not having much of a social life. Ebay is another evil force that draws me in on regular basis

What is the wildest thing that you have ever done?
Never really did anything too wild. I did go to Israel once kind of spur of a moment and traveled all over by myself. I was young and brave then. That's as crazy as I ever got.. I'm such a bore! I do think I want to go skydiving..

What was the last movie that you walked out of?
That would require me to have a good memory.. What did I even do this past weekend?

What is your favorite vegetarian dish?
Buffalo wings from Soy and Sake in the West Village.. I have no clue what they are made of, but they taste like chicken.. Doesn't everything?!

Do you still bar tend and if so, what are your clientele like?
Nah, taking a break now.. I did have to deal with a lot of pervs and drunks, but if you think about it, it's not that different from the people we meet everyday .. At least these guys were happy most of the time. One grandfather-looking guy used to wear women's underwear under his clothes.. I didn't believe it myself until he made me feel his bra.. A little weird.. It wasn't the worst job I've ever had that's for sure.. All you have to do to be successful at it is smile and try to see the humor in everything.

What 80s sitcom do you most relate to?
The Golden Girls...Old age, men troubles and sarcasm is right up my alley.

What is the worst fashion trend that you have ever seen?
Jeans that go up to the boobies, I think..

Who is your favorite fashion designer?
The one that doesn't use any animal products.. I don't think he/she exists just yet.. Otherwise I'm a little ignorant when comes to fashion..Mainly 'cause I can't afford what I like anyway!

What is the first thing that you do in the morning?
Feed my beasts! :) Dogs and fish:)

What is your favorite hair band from back in the day?
Is Bon Jovi considered a hair band? And I'm not ashamed to say that I still like them. Maybe a little ashamed, but I am from Jersey, so what can you expect?!

Who is your favorite True Blood actor?
The guy that plays Eric, of course! Alexander S.. something. I don't even care what his name is. It's not like I'd want to "talk" to him. He reminds me of a weirdo I once dated, but I'd stil let him bite me in all kinds of inappropriate places..

I'm curious as to how you came up with this one.. I guess RS is the least of two evils...

What sound annoys you?
Really loud lawn mowers that landscapers use.. I absolutely HATE that sound!!!!!

Have you ever seen a ghost?
Nah, even though people swear they exist I won't believe it until I see it!

What is your favorite thing to do in the whole wide world?
Kiss dogs!!!! Being the crazy animal lady that I am...

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you like to visit?
Africa, so I could look at wild animals being free and just be somewhere less touched by humans and progress..

How organized is your apartment?
Messy is middle name, but it's an organized mess. I usually know exactly where I throw things.

Have you ever gotten into a fist fight?
What kind of hoodlum do you take me for?! Only as a child. I'm so thankful that I never had to as an adult 'cause I'd probably just cry and run away

What does your shower curtain look like?
Glass that I constantly hit my elbows against.. I do it all the time, but still get startled by the noise like a schitzo

What are you most proud of?
I feel like I haven't accomplished anything to be proud of just yet.. I am, however, working on saving the world
