Via Vogue Russia. I would have loved to have been on this set. Growing up my family had a Scarlet Macaw like the bird as pictured above but we had to re-home him due to our lack of experience with such a beautiful but intense bird. Only experienced bird owners should have Macaws. Parrots in general tend to latch on to one family member and they can outlive their owners. Red, our Scarlet, bit everyone except for my Mom. But we still have a love and appreciation for Macaws though we learned the hard way. I also think that those who place the birds have an obligation to work with people who are experienced (and have a home far away from others as Macaws are very loud.) But enough about that-what a fantastic shoot! And Ali Michael is fantastic. Not because she is beautiful, but because she is a smart cookie.
