Ralph Lauren S/S 2010

This is my favorite collection from NYC fashion week. You can't beat All American classic done by Ralph Lauren. His Grapes of Wrath, Rags to Riches inspired clothing is so chic. Perfect timing for the understated. I know this sounds funny coming from me, but my Mom raised me around his clothing and his aesthetic. She would take us to the Ralph store in Santa Barbara and in the South Coast Plaza. Denim worn with chunky silver jewelry with a Southwestern touch. Good denim (I hate whiskers especially) is a launching pad or canvas for any kind of jewelry. Especially big and bright pieces ;).
