Kite and "wind art" from www.intothewind.com
In my Brooklyn neighborhood there is a brownstone that I pass by everyday that has a colorful parrot kite in it's front yard. Seeing it inspired me to see what else is out there in the kite world. Apparently there are kite festivals all over the states and there sport and stunt kites and all kinds of other categories of kite flying. When I was young we had kites displayed on our walls at home. Right Dad? I remember them...The varied colors and shapes are infinite and inspiring.

Enjoyed the photos! We get out to the occasional kite festival here in South Australia, and go crazy with the digital camera. Mainly the Adelaide kite festival. We've documented this annual event over the last few years.
