Now that I am visiting the family, I have certain household duties that I must perform. One is "Ball with Bear," at least two times a day for me. Mom has the morning shift. (That's the ball grabber in the lower left corner holding a nice and juicy tennis ball.)

And yesterday was extra special. We took Roxy to get her fur did. Why the long face?

Two hours later-I found Roxy digging in the dirt, chewing on the roots of a baby saguaro cactus. She is looking away because she knows she got caught with mud on her nose.
