Denim on Denim

I was checking out fashionista.com the other day and there was a section about how the editors and several commentors declared that denim on denim dressing is a no no. I completely disagree. This gal in the photo taken by The Sartorialist is looking mighty chic (yeah the shirt looks like Chambray and probably is but I have to find more examples of this look...) I know several people who wear denim shirts and jackets with denim jeans in different or similar colors and washes and it looks fantastic. There is a Ralph Lauren classicness to it.
But on a serious note, the inmates from the Rob Schneider movie Big Stan know how to wear it too.
